With news that there will be basketball in Las Vegas this summer (albeit not the traditional summer league) it got me once again thinking about the often proposed but never completed strip arena. Arenas have been proposed in a few different places including behind Bally’s and next to Fontainebleau and Sahara, but none have taken hold. [...]

It’s a beautiful Sunday and a fun day in sports with the British Open in the morning, baseball all day and the Women’s World Cup final in the middle. There’s also celebrity golf on NBC somewhere later in the day. I love baseball and days like this keep sports in the summer fun and different. [...]
