I like beer. I like wine. But I don’t normally drink both together. There is a beer, wine and food tasting at the Adrian Phillips Ballroom in Boardwalk Hall on October 22. This seems like a pretty cool event.

Beer vs. Wine will showcase, 15 American craft breweries, 15 American wineries, all complimenting 20 of Atlantic City’s finest restaurants. During this event each of the 2,500 attendees will have a chance to sample what local restaurateurs have prepared to enhance the taste of participating beers and wines in order for attendees to decide which completes each dish best, beer or wine. Throughout the night local chefs will perform cooking demos while beer enthusiast and sommeliers host seminars and hot debates on all subjects beer and wine.

Tickets are $75 plus $20,000 in convenience charges by ticketmaster. If you want to avoid the charges, tickets will be $79.99 at the door.

Earlier this year I went to Cochon All Stars at Cosmopolitan, which was my first food, wine and beer tasting. It was phenomenal. Tickets were $150 so at $75 you’re looking at a, relative, bargain. I’m curious which restaurants will be showcasing their food since there’s no information on AC Beer vs. Wine‘s website. Click below if you want tickets.
