Wynn Bails On Philly

Last week Stiffs and Georges wondered if Wynn would pull out of their deal with Foxwoods to build a casino in Pennsylvania.  This week that became fact.

“We are fascinated by the legalization of full gaming in Pennsylvania and stimulated by the opportunity that it presents for Wynn Resorts, but this particular project did not, in the end, present an opportunity that was appropriate for our company,” Wynn Resorts Chairman and CEO Steve Wynn said in a statement.

So now it’s time to question whether or not Wynn will look to Atlantic City again.  I’m not in the mood to speculate tonight.  This gives me an excuse to listen to Boyz 2 Men.

Such a shame. From the latest drawing I saw, it looked like it was going to be an amazing property.

Now it’ll just be a box of slots, if it even gets built.

If it does get built I’d assume that it would have table games. I can’t imagine any casino that would be built without moving forward.
