“During the summer months, demand was great,” Borgata spokeswoman Noel Stevenson said in a statement Tuesday. “Now that we’re in the shoulder season, with the schedule adjusted based on demand, on most Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, the Water Club will primarily cater to butler and guest suites, group business and special events.”
When the Water Club was closed during the week earlier this year it wasn’t a surprise and with business still slow, again, this isn’t a surprise. Modern styling is only modern for so long and I have an idea that won’t happen. Instead of closing the Water Club, why not close the main tower and use this slow period to renovate their older rooms which are clearly outdated now?

This would give Borgata customers a taste of the Water Club, which may lead to greater traffic in the future. This would also allow Borgata a way to renovate rooms without disturbing the customers. Renovations on the main tower have been pending for a while. This may not be an option for today, but it could be an option for Borgata in the future.
