Harrah’s Resort is running a promotion that is awarding thousands of free rooms on Tuesday, September 29 at South Street Seaport.
All you have to do is show up from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m to snag a Waterfront Tower room for stays from October 1 through December 23.
They’re upgrading people to suites if they trade in their clothes for Harrah’s swim wear. Casino’s give away a lot of comps and I think this is a cool way to get good press and bring people into the casino. If this is successful, I wouldn’t be surprised to see this happen in other cities on the east coast. It’s tough enough to get people to a shore town in the winter. Stunts like this can be (but probably aren’t) pretty inexpensive.

Harrah’s club card holders already get free rooms, Mon-Thurs. Good for two nights per week. No play trequired.
