Bally's Bikini Beach Bar

Say it 4 times real fast: “BALLY’S BIKINI BEACH BAR.”  I spent about 2 hours at the Bikini Bar imbibing on a handful of refreshing cocktails on my recent trip to Atlantic City.  I have two words to describe my experience. YUM YUM!  However…

…the experience was followed by a long nap. Possibly from too many drinks too quickly.  Possibly because I was up and out at 7am.  Possibly because of both.

I love relaxing outside with a few cold ones.  On this trip to the Bikini Bar I had excellent service by one of the better looking bikini clad waitresses.  She was hurling the drinks fast and furious.  I was drinking nice cold Grey Goose and Sodas.  They were stronger than I expected and were going down a little slower than usual.  Hence the back-up in the picture above.

The bar was crowded, but not packed.  My friend and I were able to get a table with an umbrella.  The umbrella was key, because it’s pretty easy to burn when just sitting under the sun drinking.  Time seems to move much slower after a few drinks.

The DJ was cranking out all of today’s hottest pop jams including Pitbull and Black Eyed Peas.  I enjoy these songs in small doses, but I felt like I heard the same songs all weekend long.  I reference this in my post about The Ridge.  Having said that, the DJ did his job.  He got the ladies dancing.

Getting girls dancing at 4 in the afternoon was quite a feat but the combination of drinks, music and sun definitely helps the cause.  One of my favorite bits of dancing were a couple of girls getting busy with an older man.

All in all everyone seemed to be having a really good time at the Bikini Bar.  I had a good time just sitting back enjoying my drinks and watching everyone.  The temperature was great and it made the day time experience excellent.

I will be back for more daytime fun at the Bikini Bar next summer, but I highly doubt I’ll go there at night.  I had dinner outside at Johnny Rockets one night and was treated to the very loud sounds of an awful cover band.  If I can’t tell that you’re playing a Guns n Roses song you get put in the “awful” category for a cover band.  I also noticed about 8 guys going in for every girl.  I’m not really interested in hanging out at a bar with a bunch of dudes listening to bad cover songs.

Unfortunately I missed the playboy casting call because it rained on the Friday.  I also didn’t get a chance to check out the Trump Beach Bar, which as we know was a Top 21 Sexy Beach Bar.
