My current Featured Pick is the book “Bringing Down The House” by Ben Mezrich. I’m watching the movie “21″ which is based on the book. The book is phenomenal, while the movie is just eye candy for someone that would always rather be in Vegas.
Here’s the synopsis from the wiki. The book’s main character is Kevin Lewis, an MIT graduate who was invited to join the MIT Blackjack Team in 1993. Lewis was recruited by two of the team’s top players, Jason Fisher and Andre Martinez. The team was financed by a colorful character named Micky Rosa, who had organized at least one other team to play the Vegas strip. This new team was the most profitable yet. Personality conflicts and card counting deterrent efforts at the casinos eventually ended this incarnation of the MIT Blackjack Team.
I’m not much of a fiction reader, but “Bringing Down The House” is awesome. I finished the book in less than two weeks which is much faster than I normally read. Click on the book cover to learn more.

Congrats on the storefront. I’ve seen a lot of gaming books on borders yet, their “advice” is mostly reprinting the game instructions. Hold on 17, duh! Anyway, if there is one book that you would recommend what would it be. I’d like to get heavily in to comps and my game is primarily video poker. Thanks. and thanks for the blog.
